Girls Artistic Gymnastics consists of four
pieces of apparatuses:
Vault, Bars, Beam, Floor
Boys Artistic Gymnastics consists of six apparatuses:
Vault, High Bar, Pommel Horse, Parallel Bars, Floor, Rings

COMPETITIVE GYMNASTICS
The INTERNATIONAL GYMNASTICS Competition Team adheres to the USA Gymnastics Competitive Program, the National Governing Body for the sport of gymnastics in the United States, referred to as USAG

1. DEVELOPMENTAL/PRE-TEAM: An introductory competitive program designed to create a positive competitive experience in a low-pressure environment, Basic level skills are reinforced with an emphasis on strength, flexibility, coordination and focus.
2. COMPULSORY LEVELS 1-5: A gymnast may begin competing in Level 1 at the age of 4 and in Level 2 at the age of 5. These levels are progressive in nature, building upon the skills required at the previous level and routines become increasingly more difficult. Competitions range from local to out of state invitational culminating with the Florida State Championships in December of each year.
3. Optional Levels 6-10: Optional routines are designed by her coach based on the required skills at each level. (Levels 7 & 8 have difficulty restrictions as for Levels 9 & 10 have no restrictions in the skill choice).

Levels 7 & 8 Competitions: Range from local to out of state invitationals culminating with the Florida State Championships in March of each year, If the gymnast qualifies, she MUST also compete at the Regional Championships in April of each year.

Level 9 & 10 Competitions: Range from local to out of state invitationals culminating with the Florida State Championships in March of each year. If the gymnast qualifies, she MUST also compete at the Regional Championships in April of each year at the National Championships in May of each year.
4. TOP'S PROGRAM : The talent Opportunity Program's purpose is to identify girls with special talents between the ages of 7 and 11. State and National testing is done in the summer of each year.
MORNING PROGRAM: Participation is by invitation only by the Head Coach, Fernando Veliz. All gymnasts in the intensive program must train the number of hours assigned. The must compete in State, Regional, National & International competitions. All other stipulated rules in the handbook also apply to the morning program as well as keeping up with their school work during the designated school time at the gym.
